Special Invitation to Conference

 On behalf of The Commission on Black Men and Boys, Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D.DC) and Executive Director of the Alliance of Concerned Men, Tyrone Parker, would like to invite you to attend the Alliance’s 1st Annual Conference entitled “Preserving Life and Intervening In Crisis”, at the US Capitol Building on November 10th, 2009. A distinguished panel of experts in the field of gang prevention and youth violence will be in attendance and participants will gain valuable insights into strategies that can be replicated in their communities. The conference will also mark the official release of the Alliance’s groundbreaking manual which details its effective strategies on gang mediation.

All members of your staff are invited to attend, particularly case managers and outreach workers. The conference is free to the public. Continental breakfast and Lunch will be provided.
