Malacka Reed known as "Malacka Make-Up" raised in Douglass projects had a dream at the age of 13 to one day be the owner of her own cosmetic line of make-up and skin care. At the age of 32 her mission was accomplished. She launched her cosmetic line naming it "Skai Ryan cosmetics" after her youngest daughter.She started selling her cosmetics out the trunk of her car for two months, and that was so successful, she was able to afford a kiosk at Security Square Mall where she stayed for five months. With great success she out grew the kiosk and found herself in desperate need of obtaining her own building.
