Washington, D.C., Oct. 30, 2009 — Kemet Productions International Inc.'s Road to Stardom program is holding auditions from 4 pm to 7 pm at HowardUniversity's BlackburnCenter on Sunday, November 8 for Road to Stardom Showcase to be held November 22.People of all ages are invited to audition.
Talent is encouraged to arrive early because audition space is limited."The Road to Stardom program educates talented hopefuls about the realities of the entertainment business. We provide an outlet for them to showcase their talent to industry experts and we groom them to become professionals," said Jackson-Harley. Program participants are also given the opportunity to promote their talents abroad through the Road to Stardom London liaison program.
Showcase winners will appear at the renowned Apollo Theatre in Harlem.They will also participate in Kemet Productions' Road to Stardom program, showcases and events in Hollywood, New York and London.
Jackson-Harley established the Road to Stardom program more than 25 years ago. This program has served as a platform for many talented hopefuls to showcase their talents, and has launched the careers of several renowned artists including, DaveChappelle, Dru Hill, Sisquo, and D'Angelo, to name a few.

London Foundation Honors D.C. Woman for Dedication to Helping Aspiring Artists
Washington, D.C., Oct. 31, 2009 — The Reidy Foundation will honor JaneJackson-Harley, President and CEO of Kemet Productions International Inc. for her dedication to developing and promoting aspiring artists through her Road to Stardom program in London on November 28.
SaundraGlenn of the London-based Reidy Youth Foundation will host Jackson-Harley and 20 of her program participants during a joint entertainment conference in London November 25-29, 2009, during which the Road to Stardom program members will perform before British royalty. This conference also marks the expansion of the Road to Stardom program to London. "This venture gives aspiring American artists the opportunity to promote their talent abroad, while exploring cultural and artistic differences," said Jackson-Harley.

Baroness RosalindHowells of St. David, OBE asked Saundra Glenn of the London-based Reidy Youth Foundation and Jane Jackson-Harley, Kemet's president, to arrange a special London talent conference to provide a forum for American and British aspiring artists to display their talents before British royalty. This joint venture will also broaden the scope of the Road to Stardom program, offering aspiring artists from America the opportunity to explore cultural and artistic differences, and a chance to pursue a career abroad."There are many talented individuals who need an outlet to showcase their talent and that's what we do with the Road to Stardom program . . . we provide that opportunity," said Jackson-Harley.Kemet will take 20 of its Road to Stardom participants to London to perform.
